Welcome to Explorer Buddies by Florence and the Morgans

When we set out to rebuild the interior of Florence our Camper Van in just 6 weeks on a ridiculous budget of just £1000, we had no idea how much of an impact the whole experience would have on our lives. We have been overwhelmed by the positive reaction we have had to our build, with positive messages coming to us from around the globe. We gained so much inspiration from amazing creative #VanLifers, during our build, we really wanted to give some of that back! On this blog we will be sharing photos, articles, tutorials, videos and anything we feel might be of interest to the #VanLife community. Scott is also a passionate wild camper and we both enjoy hiking, so we plan to start sharing posts about these subjects too. We have lots of ideas to share with you and exciting projects in the pipeline, we have been in talks with the amazing Indie Projects who are planning to come and make a film tour in the next few weeks, we are buzzing about that! We plan to share Vlogs of our trips and hope to meet some of you along the way. Thank you for your support, encouragement and positivity. We start the blog with some blog posts about our Florence Van Build. Let us know if there is anything you would like to see and we will see what we can do for you. Much Van Love to you all and Happy travels - The Morgans xx

  • Greetings from northern California. Thank you both for sharing a bit of your life with the rest of us. I discovered your youtube channel a week or so ago and have binge-watched every episode—-I feel such a peaceful calm from the moment I push play. Your companionship with each other is beautiful to watch, as is the incredible, mesmerizing, scenery from the places you visit. I wish you more lovely adventures and joy on the journey. Best wishes!

    • Hey Patti, thank you so much for your kind words 😊 I’m so happy you enjoyed our films, thank you for taking the time to watch. 🚐💕

  • Hiya it’s me again. Archie is now stripped out. I have had some auto electriciians looking at the wiring and am shocked at the quotes coming in to modernise it. Help! What did you do? Thanks and hope you are well x

    • Do you mean inside the van or the engine? Inside we just used the existing 12v system and then spurred off that for any new fittings.

    • If it’s inside any electrician should be able to help. Auto electricians are expensive, as that is a specialist trade

What do you think? Any Questions?
